Do you know Supermassive Black Holes Exist?

Supermassive black hole comes into existence when a very big star dies. These are very powerful, full of energy & have very high gravitational forces. Even light cannot escape from its extreme gravitational force.

In our vast universe, there are many mysterious objects. Of those, supermassive black holes are the most peculiar objects. They are strong and sometimes do not obey the laws of general physics.

Mysteries from the Supermassive black hole

A team of scientists conducted a study on a neighboring galaxy Ophiuchus cluster. This galaxy has a peculiar donut-shaped crater in it. When scientists discovered it they thought it as a projection from a black hole. They believed that the black hole must have emitted radiation causing the crater.

But the team disagreed with the thesis. They said if this theory was true we would have seen the largest explosion in the history of our universe. It takes a very long time for an explosion of such an extent to settle.

Scientists took a second reading of the data & tried to come to other conclusions. The team was lead by radio astronomer Simona Giacintucci. To understand what caused the crater they took X-ray readings and matched it with new radio data.

How powerful are these Supermassive black hole?

According to the team’s report, the crater had x-rays with diffused radio emissions. X-rays with diffused radio emissions are anomalies. It appears to be a very aged fossil seen in any galaxy cluster.

In simpler words, it is evident that a black hole created the crater in the middle of the galaxy. In this case, it would not be wrong to say that a black hole created the crater.

It is not very unusual for black holes to emit such high-intensity radiations. There are bigger craters in our vast universe. Someday our scientists & cosmologists will discover them and solve their mysteries.

There are supermassive black holes in the center of each galaxy. They are extremely powerful & keep the entire galaxy in place. They emit huge energy and then after a long time when they run out of hydrogen, become a death star.

Conclusion

These types of craters come into existence by black hole radiations. It is not very uncommon to find them. The Ophiuchus cluster is 390 million years away & we find many of these over there. We have researched many new galaxies and have discovered new things.

As we explore the universe and unravel its mysteries, we learn about new things. The universe is very big and scientists haven’t even discovered 1% of it. It is vast and has many mysteries in it which are yet to be solved for. To understand it completely it would take humanity a long time.
