The newly introduced plans now start at an enticing Rs 29 per month, down from the previous Rs 99 per month or Rs 999 annually for streaming on up to four devices concurrently.
Viacom18 Digital CEO Kiran Mani emphasized that this price revision aims to enhance affordability and accessibility for customers. These revamped plans boast features like 4K streaming, high-quality audio, offline viewing, and unrestricted device compatibility, catering to a diverse audience. Subscribers gain access to an extensive library of international movies, TV series, and children’s programming in five languages, accessible both online and offline.
Moreover, the updated subscription packages guarantee an ad-free viewing experience and exclusive content, accessible across all devices, including smart TVs. Families can benefit from a dedicated “family plan” priced at Rs 89 per month, offering simultaneous access on four screens. Existing premium members can seamlessly transition to this plan without incurring extra charges. Notably, sports content, including the popular Indian Premier League (IPL), remains accessible for free via the platform’s ad-supported model.
JioCinema has solidified partnerships with major studios like Peacock, HBO, Paramount, and Warner Bros Discovery, enabling subscribers to enjoy the latest global series and movie releases. Blockbusters such as Game Of Thrones, House Of The Dragon, Oppenheimer, and Barbie are now available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, and Marathi. Furthermore, Viacom18 Media, through its collaboration with Warner Bros Discovery, has secured exclusive rights to stream acclaimed shows like Succession and The Last of Us in India. Premium members can also enjoy early access to content from TV channel Colors, Nickelodeon, and the entire Colors suite of regional language channels, including serials before their television broadcast. Additionally, subscribers can stream over 20 Viacom18 Network TV channels, further enriching their entertainment experience.
