Online B2B marketplace and discovery platform IndiaMART InterMESH Ltd, announced on Saturday, October 19, a 94.7% YoY growth in its net profit for the second quarter of FY25, reaching Rs 135.1 crore.

In Q2 FY24, the company recorded a net profit of Rs 69.4 crore, a report from a regulatory filing highlighted.

The company’s operational revenue rose 48.8% to Rs 347.7 crore up from Rs 294.7 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.

Its EBITDA increased by 68.4% from Rs 80 crore to Rs 134.7 crore in the second quarter of this fiscal, compared to the same quarter of the last fiscal year. The company’s EBITDA margin was 38.7%, up from 27.2% in Q2 FY24.

In terms of collections from its customers, IndiaMART saw a 6% YoY increase in the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, amounting to Rs 356 crore, which included Rs 337 crore from direct sales and an additional Rs 17 crore from Busy Infotech. The company also reported an increase in deferred revenue to Rs 1,483 crore, a 19% increase from the previous year.

Among its deferred revenue, the amount from direct sales rose to Rs 1,426 crore, while contributions from Busy Infotech stood at Rs 53 crore. The company’s operating cash flow for the quarter stood at Rs 103 crore, and its cash and investment balance increased to Rs 2,449 crore by September 30, 2024.

IndiaMART registered 28 million unique inquiries from businesses seeking services in the quarter under review, marking a 14% YoY growth in inquiries. The number of suppliers available through its storefronts also saw a 5% increase to 8 million, with a net addition of 2,400 new subscribers during the quarter.

Dinesh Agarwal, the Chief Executive Officer, stated in the announcement, “We have closed the second quarter with healthy growth in revenue and operating margins along with modest growth in deferred revenue and cash flows. We stay committed to the vision of “Make Doing Business Easy” and enable businesses to grow online.”
