FlexiBees– a talent marketplace has raised an undisclosed amount in their pre-Series A round led by Inflection Point Ventures. Shan M S, the COO of Namma Yatri, and Reema Mahajan, the founder of International Women in Dubai along with others, also participated in the round.
“FlexiBees addresses flexibility by offering part-time, project-based, and remote jobs, enabling professionals to manage both their personal and professional lives effectively,” said Vikram Ramasubramaniam, partner at Inflection Point Ventures.
The generated funds will help to develop the technological platform, improve AI solutions for matching employers with candidates, and extend the company’s presence in the market.
Shreya Prakash and Rashmi Rammohan cofounded FlexiBees in 2017, which enlists and employs women professionals in part-time, project, and remote opportunities. It reduces hiring time efficiently by 90%, offering sales, digital marketing, finance, tech, and HR roles. Currently, it caters to more than 700 enterprises across the world and has prominent brands such as Kimberly-Clark Professional and Tata Realty as clients besides young high-growth ventures such as Qapita and Creditmantri.
The startup’s vetting technology ensures high-quality matches as 70% of the company’s business comes from recurring clients.
Cofounder Prakash said, “Our objective is to scale our operations to generate employment opportunities and improve employability for millions of women professionals currently outside the full-time workforce.”
The startup states that it has a network of more than 60,000 professionals and that it has placed nearly 1,400 women in flexible careers, and has helped 20,000 females through returnship training and mock interviews. By July 2024, FlexiBees has employed over 30 working professionals, who work online and the company will further recruit all employees on its own.
