ProFinTech Technologies has secured $1.4 million or Rs 11.8 crore in a seed funding round led by the family offices of K.I. Varaprasad Reddy and Rahul Gedupudi, among others.

This investment round of the deeptech-driven financial solutions provider has also attracted participation from the family offices of Sreeman Chalasani and Srinivas Kalagara, alongside a diverse group of high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and family offices from India and the United States.

The newly raised funds are set to be utilized for the enhancement of ProFinTech’s platform, which facilitates micro and small enterprises across India in accessing financing options with ease. Moreover, a significant portion of these funds will be allocated towards the firm’s expansion into the southern and western regions of India.

In a statement, the company expressed its intention to forge stronger partnerships with forward-thinking banks and nonbank financial companies (NBFCs), aiming to enhance its supply chain and trade financing operations.

Established in 2022 by Ravi Tanniru and Sandeep Kunkunuru, ProFintech Technologies specializes in providing customized financing solutions tailored to address the unique challenges faced by micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the country.

Tanniru commnented, “This funding will accelerate our growth and allow us to introduce highly innovative solutions to the market. Our data-driven approach will empower countless MSMEs to drive business growth and generate more employment opportunities.”

The company has been at the forefront of introducing innovative solutions, including automated financing recommendations, transaction-level credit readiness scores, and the elimination of processing fees, among others.

Moreover, ProFintech Technologies is in the process of introducing new product features and enhancements designed to support MSMEs in effectively scaling their businesses.

This achievement comes at a time when Validus Fintech Services, another fintech startup, has also secured undisclosed capital as part of its seed funding round, led by AUM Ventures and a select group of strategic investors, in July.
