Ninecamp Secures $2 Mn Seed Funding to Revolutionize Premium Dining

Ninecamp Ventures, a startup founded by former Zomato executive Chaitanya Mathur, has raised $2 million (approximately INR 16.7 crore) in its seed funding round. The round saw participation from a group of angel and non-institutional investors.

Key investors in this round include Zomato cofounders Mohit Gupta and Gaurav Gupta, Honasa cofounders Ghazal and Varun Alagh, Cars24 cofounders Vikram Chopra, Ruchit Agarwal, Mehul Agrawal, and Gajendra Jangid, and PharmEasy cofounder Dharmil Sheth.

The newly acquired capital will be utilized to expand Ninecamp’s brand portfolio and increase its team size, as stated by the company.

Founded in October last year, Ninecamp Ventures positions itself as a next-generation food and beverage startup with a primary focus on the premium dining space. The company aims to disrupt the traditional dining experience by offering high-quality, innovative culinary options.

“We are excited about the support from our investors, which underscores their confidence in Ninecamp’s vision to redefine the premium dining landscape,” said Chaitanya Mathur, founder of Ninecamp Ventures. “With this funding, we will accelerate our growth, expand our brand offerings, and strengthen our team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.”

The startup plans to leverage its founders’ extensive experience in the food and beverage industry to carve out a niche in the competitive market, emphasizing quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

The participation of prominent industry leaders as investors is a testament to the potential they see in Ninecamp’s unique approach to premium dining. With the fresh infusion of funds, Ninecamp is well-positioned to scale its operations and bring its ambitious vision to life.
