GRAVITY Secures $1M Pre-Series A Funding Led by Kettleborough VC

GRAVITY, a Mumbai-based hyper-personalized banking platform, has successfully raised $1 million in a pre-Series A funding round, with Kettleborough VC leading the investment. Notable figures from the banking industry and select HNIs also participated in the round.

The funds raised will be primarily allocated towards furthering technological development and executing organic growth strategies, GRAVITY announced in a press release.

Founded in March 2024 by Satish Krishnaswamy and Rohit Maroo, GRAVITY empowers banks to deliver tailored experiences to both retail and enterprise customers.

The platform facilitates interoperability across various banking software managing core banking systems, payments, LOS, LMS, treasury, depository, and more. Banks can leverage this ecosystem to develop contextual and customised products based on customer needs and eligibility criteria.

According to GRAVITY, banks can achieve multiple efficiencies, including routing IMPS transactions through NEFT during IMPS server downtimes, offering instant loans to customers facing failed transactions due to low account balances, and launching new products or workflows within 2-3 days using its API symphony, among other use cases.

Kettleborough VC, an early-stage venture capital firm based in India and led by seed investor Nisarg Shah, has been actively investing since the launch of its maiden VC fund in October 2022. The firm has previously backed startups such as InPrime Finserv, Finhaat, Giga Fun Studios, Zocket, and ONWO, among others.
