Voice-based gen-AI startup Gnani.ai has secured $4 million or Rs 30 crore in its Series A funding round led by Info Edge Ventures.
The company made a statement on July 30 that the fresh capital will be deployed in sales growth and operation expansion across geographies.
Ganesh Gopalan and Ananth Nagaraj cofounded Gnani.ai in 2016 revolutionising customer experience through generative AI.
The startup offers a no-code voice platform having various product features such as omnichannel conversational automation, omnichannel analytics, agent assist, and voice biometrics. It also has a patented proprietary tech stack for TTS, STT, NLP, and augmented intelligence applicable to 14 Indian languages in addition to English.
The company has raised $8 million to date with Samsung Ventures as one of the prominent investors. It has recently announced a series of Voice-first AI Small Language Models (SLM) models with initial target domains being retail, banking, automotive, and insurance.
CEO Gopalan commented on the investment, “We are thrilled to welcome Info Edge Ventures to our journey. Gnani.ai’s generative AI-powered voice automation platform has helped financial institutions collect over $2 billion from their end customers in the last six months.”
