Felicity Games Secures $700K in Pre-Seed Funding from DeVC, Nandan Reddy, Kunal Shah, and Others

Felicity Games, a burgeoning casual game developer and publisher, has successfully raised $700,000 in a pre-seed funding round. The round saw participation from DeVC, Visceral Capital, and notable angel investors including Kunal Shah of CRED, former Nazara CEO Manish Agarwal, Swiggy’s Sriharsha Majety and Nandan Reddy, and Sameer Pittalwala, Head of Gaming at Google Cloud (APAC).

The capital infusion will be utilized to test 10 additional games by March 2025, with an ambitious goal to scale revenue by 10x by the end of this year. This strategic expansion aims to build on the early success of Felicity’s initial game titles.

Founded in 2023 by ex-Swiggy executive Anurag Choudhary, Felicity Games has quickly made a mark in the gaming industry. The company recently launched two titles, ‘Seek & Find’ and ‘Nova Solitaire,’ which have both achieved positive unit economics in the US and other western markets. Within just three months, these games have amassed over 100,000 downloads.

Bengaluru-based Felicity Games employs a unique approach to game development, rapidly prototyping and testing casual games for commercial viability using their proprietary framework, “Pokhran.” Only the successful prototypes are scaled up for broader release. This method has allowed Felicity to launch over 10 game titles in under a year, attracting more than a million monthly users across 14 geographies.

With the backing of prominent investors and a solid growth strategy, Felicity Games is well-positioned to continue its rapid expansion. The company’s innovative approach to game development and its early success in western markets highlight its potential to become a significant player in the global gaming industry.
