Atlys, a visa processing platform, has raised $20 million in its Series B funding. Peak XV Partners and Elevation Capital led the round, with participation from returning investors and newcomers like DST Global and Headline.
According to a news release from the company, the new funding will support Atlys’ objectives for worldwide expansion, improve its engineering and product offerings, expand into untapped markets, and scale up operations.
The Mohak Nahta-led Atlys, founded in 2021, focuses on simplifying visa-related procedures. Its technology can expedite processing times to as little as 55 seconds and lower the percentage of visas rejected. Almost 5 to 10 minutes are typically needed to apply for a visa using the portal, which covers more than 150 destinations.
Atlys now has a stronger presence in several important international markets, such as the US, UAE, and UK. Additionally, it has strengthened its leadership in the engineering, marketing, and product divisions. The business asserts that it has expanded 20X in the last year, despite not disclosing its sales or other financial information. It processes about 30,000 visa applications each month, with India accounting for over 60% of these applications. In September 2023, the startup raised $12 million in a Series A round, and in October 2021, $4.25 million in seed capital.
