The 20 Startups Enlisted in Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First Program

Google has enlisted 20 Indian startups in its ‘Google for Startups Accelerator: AI-First’ program. The program will offer equity-free support in the core operations of these 20 early-stage startups through AI, machine learning, and cloud technology for a duration of three months.

The initiative was announced this year in April as an accelerator program for Seed to Series A startups, receiving over 1,030 applications. AI-first startups remain the focus of the initiative, spread across the sectors of education, healthcare, manufacturing, gaming, cybersecurity, and data analytics.

The 20 startups will be allowed access to the Google mentor network, AI tools, and tech stack credits, to train them in the generation of responsible and human-centered AI solutions. The training comprises mentorship from prominent industry leaders, Google Cloud, google deep mind, android, web and cloud infrastructure, wen and access to a global network.

Following are the 20 startups that were selected under the program:

1. 3DAILY (Gaming)
  • Established: By Harsha P Deka, 2016
  • Headquarters: Bengaluru

3Daily is a GenAI startup offering production-ready 3D models of mobile games characters, metaverse, animation, and 3D printing, so far catering to big league companies such as Marvel, Samsung, Sony, Hermes Paris, and McDonald’s.

2. Figr (Developer Tool)
  • Established: By Moksh Garg and Chirag Singla, 2023
  • Headquarters: Bengaluru

Figr offers AI-driven tools such as Flash UI and Prokrit for app and website design. Two products- Identity and Construct are also under development that would allow the users to build brand identity and innovate concepts in UI format. The startup had bagged $250k in seed funding led by Antler India in September 2023.

3. Hypergro.ai (Marketing Tech)
  • Established: By Rituraj Biswas, Abhijeet Kumar, Arijit Mukhopadhyay, and Neha Soman, 2022
  • Headquarters: Bengaluru

Hypergro.ai’s service includes AI-driven solutions to brands allowing them to utilize user-generated content to create appealing video ads along with ad management, and tracking of campaign outcomes.

4. Kommunicate (Customer Service)
  • Established: By Devashsish Mamgain and Adarsh Kumar, 2020
  • Headquarters: Middletown, Delaware

Kommunicate provides AI-powered customer service automation sites for businesses, so far in the likes of KPMG, HDFC, Bridgestone, and Tax Buddy among others. Last year in September, it raised $100k from Upekkha AI SaaS Fund in seed funding. The startup’s office is located in Bengaluru as well.

5. KroopAI (Cybersecurity)
  • Established: By Jyoti Joshi, 2021
  • Headquarters: Ahmedabad

KroopAI’s products include ViZMantiZ- a multimodal detection platform, that allows users to differentiate fake audio and video from real; and a web app & API to create synthetic data from avatars in multiple languages- Artiste AI Studio.

To date, the startup has raised $230k in funds, with 100X.VC and LetsVenture among its investors.

6. LearnTube (Education)
  • Established: By Shronit Ladhani and Gargi Ruparelia, 2022
  • Headquarters: Mumbai

CareerNinja’s GenAI-powered skill-enhancing platform-LearnTube converts internet and YouTube content into bite-size courses. Data Science, web development, digital marketing, and web design are some of its popular courses. Capria Ventures, AngelList Quant Fund, and Goodwater Capital are some of the firms backing this startup.

7. MarianaAI (Healthcare)
  • Established: By Kaustubh Sharma and Vishal Agrawal, 2023
  • Headquarters: San Francisco

In the B2B SaaS health-tech market, MarianaAI offers AI models that automate patient communication assistance, medical coding, multilingual AI medical scribe, and clinical decision support, competing with the likes of Nyv, Aviacode, and Fathom.

8. Meritic (Data Analytics)
  • Established: By Nipun Gupta, Pallavi Chakravorty, and Swapni Basak, 2023
  • Headquarters: Bengaluru

Meritic offers automation in business intelligence workflows through its AI-powered tools. The startup is backed by the likes of Accel, Neotribe, and Peak XV.

9. Merlin AI (Productivity Tool)
  • Established: By Pratyush Rai, 2022
  • Headquarters: California

Merlin AI is an AI Chrome Extension & web, offering AI models in the likes of ChatGPT 4, Llama, Claud, and Opus. These help users come up with AI responses on Google searches, get a gist of YouTube videos, and generate written content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Gmail, and Twitter, along with blogs & documents.

10. PriveSapien (Cybersecurity)
  • Established: By Abhilash Soundararajan and Deepika Abhilash, 2019
  • Headquarters: Bengaluru

PrivaSapien helps in privacy risk management, mitigation, and data collaboration through its AI solutions.

11. Segwise.ai (Gaming)
  • Established: By Brijesh Bharadwaj and Shobit Gupta, 2023
  • Headquarters: Lewes, Delaware

The AI models of Segwise.ai enable deep integrations across multiple data sources and tools and are working on the inclusion of mobile product growth-focused tasks.
The startup recently secured $1.6 million in pre-seed funding led by Powerhouse Ventures, with Blume Ventures, Antler India, Saka Ventures, Everywhere Ventures, and Untitled Ventures among other investors.

12. SellerApp (Commerce Enabler/AI)
  • Established: By Brij Purohit, Dilip Vamanan, Gaurav Manchanda, Kunal Agarwal, 2016
  • Headquarters: Singapore

SellerSApp is an e-commerce intelligent platform offering business solutions such as competition analysis and real-time data analysis to sellers.

13. Simplismart (Developer Tool)

  • Headquarters: Bengaluru

SimpliSmart allows businesses to streamline operations, build production-grade AI systems, and deploy machine learning for efficient production.

14. SpotDraft (Legal Tech)
  • Established: By Shashank Bijapur, Madhav Bhagat, and Rohith Salim, 2017
  • Headquarters: Bengaluru

SpotDraft is an AI-powered end-to-end contract lifecycle management site that allows businesses to automate the analysis, management, and creation of their contracts. The startup had raised $1.5 million in its pre-Series A funding round from 021 Capital.

15. Supersourcing (Tech)
  • Established: By Mayank Pratap Singh and Aditi Chaurasia, 2020
  • Headquarters: Indore

Supersourcing provides AI-based solutions for businesses, facilitating talent matching, candidate screening, hiring management, and immediate talent onboarding.

16. SwitchOn (Manufacturing)
  • Established: By Aniruddha Banerjee and Avra Banerjee, 2017
  • Headquarters: Bengaluru

SwitchOn is an AI-based manufacturing defects detection platform. The startup had raised $4.2 million in its Series A funding round in 2023, led by Axilor Ventures and pi Ventures among others.

17. upliance.ai (FoodTech)
  • Established: By Mahek Mody (former Ather Energy executive) and Mohit Sharma (former Chaayos employee), 2021
  • Headquarters: Bengaluru

upliance.ai’s product ‘Smart Jar’ offers cooking services such as chopping, heating, steaming, sauteing, and blending. The startup raised Rs $4 million in seed funding led by Khosla Ventures in February 2024. The funds were aimed at production expansion and enhancement.

18. vidyo.ai (Creator Economy)

  • Headquarters: Bengaluru

vidyo.ai offers AI-driven video solutions for video editing, clip making, and caption generation to grow reach through high-quality content.

19. VisualDub.ai (Media & Entertainment)
  • Established: By Mandar Natekar, Subhashsish Saha, Anjan Banerjee and Subhabrata Debnath, 2021
  • Headquarters: Bengaluru

VisualDub.ai’s AI-powered tools sync voice recordings with lip movements for over 35 languages.

20. Vodex.ai (SalesTech)
  • Established: By Anshul Shrivastava and Kumar Saurav, 2022
  • Headquarters: Bengaluru

Vodex.ai is a GenAI SaaS startup allowing businesses to replace traditional call centers with AI-based sales agents that communicate in a human-like manner. The startup raised $2 million in seed funding in April led by Unicorn India Ventures and Pentathlon Ventures, aiming for global expansion.
