Sohail Khan Reveals He Was Sexually Harassed as a Child, Shares Why He Stayed Silent

During a recent broadcast of the competitive series Alliance on Prime Video, actor and filmmaker Sohail Khan shared a deeply personal disclosure regarding childhood trauma. During a candid conversation with fellow participants Arslan Goni, Ruhee Dosani, and Aly Goni, Khan revealed that he was subjected to sexual harassment as a young child and maintained silence about the trauma for several decades. This childhood experience fundamentally shaped his approach to parenting, prompting him to constantly encourage his children to report any instances of bullying or abuse.

Recalling the eventual conversation with his family, Khan shared: “I was sexually harassed by somebody when I was young and I kept that within me for years. When I grew up and became an adult, I confided in my father. I told him, ‘Daddy, this happened to me.’ He said, ‘Son, you kept this inside you for so many years.’ I said, ‘I am so sorry, but I was so embarrassed to say it.’ I was not at fault, but I felt ashamed. So I keep telling my children, no matter what happens, tell me everything.”

Beyond these personal reflections, the reality series—hosted by Kunal Kemmu—recently made headlines by introducing Khan’s former wife, Seema Sajdeh, as a wildcard competitor.
