Garuda Aerospace has launched the country’s first-ever exclusive drone showroom in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The grand opening ceremony was inaugurated by Dr. R Velraj, Vice Chancellor of Anna University, with Mr. Agnishwar Jayaprakash, CEO of Garuda Aerospace, in attendance.
The groundbreaking showroom offers a one-stop shop for drone enthusiasts and professionals. Visitors can explore a diverse range of drones available for direct purchase, marking a significant advancement in the drone market. These drones cater to various applications, including FPV (First view), videography, surveillance, agriculture, inspections, and recreational flying.
Designed to create an immersive customer experience, the state-of-the-art showroom features high-tech interactive drone simulators that offer realistic flying experiences through VR goggles. Additionally, the showroom boasts a Live LED wall where customers can book and reserve drone services as needed. Garuda Aerospace plans to extend its reach by establishing showrooms in 20 major cities within the next 6-8 months, enhancing the accessibility of drone technology across India.
Dr. R Velraj praised Garuda Aerospace for its pioneering efforts in advancing drone technology, stating, “Garuda Aerospace’s first drone showroom is a revolutionary step. With plans for 300 pan-India showrooms, they are set to empower future drone adoption. Recognizing drones as the future, Anna University is planning a dedicated curriculum to equip a skilled workforce for Garuda’s high-volume drone production across multiple applications. This innovative showroom concept for industrial drones fosters wider consumer awareness and direct sales, breaking traditional barriers. I applaud their initiative in bringing drone technology to the forefront of Indian homes.”
