B2B ecommerce platform Apnaklub‘s gross revenue grew 92.9% to Rs 536.78 crore in FY24 from Rs 278.32 crore in FY23, according to its financial reports.

Apnaklub operates as a B2B wholesale platform, linking retailers and kirana stores with fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brands.

Personal care products generated Rs 250 crore in sales, leading the list in FY24, followed by beverages at Rs 95.34 crore, and home care and processed foods at Rs 82 crore and Rs 80.6 crore, respectively.

Additionally, the company made Rs 5 crore from interest on its long-term investments, taking its total income to Rs 541 crore in FY24.

Material cost accounted for 86% of the total costs, growing 84.83% to Rs 508.05 crore in FY24 from Rs 278 crore in FY23. The costs for employee benefits rose by 33.84% to Rs 31.60 crore, and transportation costs jumped by 41.56% to Rs 11.41 crore. Other expenses also totalled to Rs 38.69 crore, pushing the total expenses to grow by 77.4% to Rs 589.75 crore in FY24.

Despite the increased expenses, the company reduced its net loss by 13.84% to Rs 47.93 crore in FY24 from Rs 55.63 crore in FY23. The company’s losses excluding ESOP costs were at Rs 45.9 crore. It reported an EBITDA loss of Rs 44.7 crore, with an adjusted EBITDA loss of Rs 42.63 crore in the year under review.

The company’s ROCE and EBITDA margin were -79.36% and -8.25%, respectively. On a per-unit basis, the company spent Rs 1.1 to generate a rupee of operating revenue. ApnaKlub reported having Rs 39.13 crore in cash and bank balances, and current assets of Rs 90.55 crore in FY24.

To date, ApnaKlub has secured a total funding of Rs 190.78 crore (around $24.4 million) from various investors, including Tiger Global, Blume Ventures, Whiteboard Capital, and Surge Ventures.
