The first pre-seed fundraising round for the Gurugram-based jewelry business Trisu, backed by the early-stage venture capital firm All In Capital, has raised an undisclosed sum of money. A corporate statement on Thursday stated that JK Tyre, Amaanta Group, and angel investors Sumer Sethi and Himanshu Aggarwal were also involved in the round.
Trisu’s founder, Saloni Chopra, stated, “By 2034, we want to be the leading alternative to gold and take 10% of the market for regular gold jewelry.”
Founded in 2023 by Saloni Chopra, the firm specializes in selling gold vermeil jewelry with an 18-karat gold plating that is five times thicker than regular gold plating on silver, the base metal. In just eight months of operation, the start-up has grown by 24X. The company’s goals are to create five exclusive stores and ten shops by December 2026, and by 2025, it hopes to produce Rupees 8 crore in monthly recurring revenue. The firm intends to increase its visibility on all marketplaces, especially rapid commerce platforms, by the end of this year.
