AI-based low-code test automation platform Testsigma has raised $8.2 million in its latest funding round, led by MassMutual Ventures. The round also saw participation from existing investors Accel, STRIVE, and BoldCap.
This latest infusion of capital follows a previous round in 2022, where Testsigma secured $4.6 million, also led by Accel with contributions from STRIVE and BoldCap.
Founded in 2019 by Rukmangada Kandyala, Pratheep Velicherla, Vikram Chaitanya, and Rajesh Reddy, Testsigma offers a next-generation AI-powered low-code platform designed to streamline and accelerate test automation for quality engineering teams. The platform’s key feature is its ability to enable users to create, organize, and execute automated tests for web, mobile applications, and APIs using plain English, facilitated by its Natural Language Programming (NLP) engine.
“Our mission is to empower quality engineering teams to achieve automation at speed and scale, without requiring coding expertise,” stated Rukmangada Kandyala, CEO and Co-founder of Testsigma. “This funding will enable us to further enhance our platform’s capabilities and expand our reach in the market.”
Testsigma’s platform is already trusted by a diverse range of clients, including prominent names such as Sage, HPE, Netgear, HDFC Life, IEEE, SignEasy, the American Psychological Association, and Mehiläinen.
With this latest round of funding, Testsigma plans to enhance its product offerings, invest in research and development, and expand its market presence, aiming to provide innovative solutions to quality engineering teams worldwide.
