Syfe Secures $27 Million for Expansion Across Asia

Singapore-based wealthtech platform Syfe has raised $27 million (Rs 226 crore) in a new funding round. The investment was led by Valar Ventures and Unbound, with additional contributions from two UK family offices. This round brings Syfe’s total funding to $79 million.

The company, which has garnered support from prominent global investors including Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures and DST Partners, plans to use the funds to fuel growth across Asia. This includes rolling out new products and innovations in each market where Syfe operates. Significant investment will also be directed towards expanding its engineering and product teams at its tech headquarters in Gurugram.

Under the leadership of Dhruv Arora, Syfe provides diverse financial solutions including proprietary portfolios, cash management, and brokerage services. It serves customers in 60 countries.

Syfe’s operations are rooted in India, with substantial customer bases in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. In Singapore alone, Syfe manages several billion dollars in assets, with over 5% of adult citizens using the platform to meet their financial goals.
