Smart mobility startup Six Sense Mobility has secured Rs 6 crore in a seed funding round led by Piper Serica VC, a Mumbai-based angel investment firm. The company had previously received backing from Saurabh Nayyar of Docbel Group.
The new funds will be used to expand the team, enhance production capacity, and advance research and development in vehicle safety technologies.
Founded by Sumit Roy, Kapil Rao, and Narendra Kumar Verma, Six Sense Mobility is based in Delhi and focuses on developing IoT-based devices that leverage AI and machine learning to improve driving security. The company’s technology aims to address automotive safety, security, and maintenance.
Six Sense Mobility’s crash detection technology can identify collisions, assess their severity, and promptly dispatch emergency SOS services by pinpointing the exact location of the accident. This capability aims to save time and potentially lives.
The startup plans to scale its operations both in India and internationally, capitalizing on the growing connected cars market, which is projected to reach $165 billion by 2029, up from approximately $75 billion.
