Neo San, a pioneering clean technology startup, has successfully raised $1.5 million in a seed funding round, achieving a post-money valuation of $7.2 million. The funding round saw participation from notable investors including Ashish Kacholia, pro-golfer Anirban Lahiri, and several others.
The startup specializes in hazardous waste management solutions, leveraging proprietary technology like Neo-X, a decentralized waste incinerator powered by clean energy. This innovative approach allows waste to be treated directly at its source, significantly reducing emissions compared to conventional methods.
Dhwaj Bagrecha, Co-Founder of Neo San, highlighted the company’s plans with the new funding, stating, “We will utilize this investment to expand our technologies nationwide and establish larger systems to meet India’s growing waste management demands. Our goal is to build decentralized networks that enhance local waste management efficiency, contributing to a substantial reduction in overall emissions.”
