IG Drones, a drone-tech firm, has raised $1 million in a seed funding round headed by India Accelerator and featuring participation from additional angel investors.

According to a news statement from IG Drones, the money will be used to further research and development with an emphasis on developing cutting-edge drone technologies suited for military applications.

Bodhisattwa Sanghapriya and Om Prakash co-founded IG Drones in 2018. The drone-tech platform provides drone-based services for mapping, inspection, and surveying. Powerline monitoring, bridge inspection, pipeline and solar plant inspection, railroad services, agricultural surveys, and more are among the services they offer.

The Delhi-based drone-tech startup claims that it has completed over 500 projects in collaboration with the Indian Army, numerous state governments, and more than 100 major corporations. Additionally, it introduced the “IG Military Simulator,” India’s first locally created simulator.

The AI-powered Jaga drone, the flagship product of IG Drones, uses cutting-edge technology to deliver precise performance. The company is working with the defense industry and other top companies, and it has built a 5G drone. Its Kisaan drone is intended to boost the agriculture industry by offering farmers cutting-edge solutions.
