DocPlix Secures Rs 1.2 Crore in Pre-Series A Funding Led by Eris Lifesciences

Health tech startup DocPlix has successfully raised Rs 1.2 crore in its Pre-Series A funding round, led by Eris Lifesciences with participation from other angel investors.

This follows the Rs 1.2 crore raised in a Seed Round in February 2022, which also saw contributions from angel investors.

The fresh capital will be utilized to scale operations, enhance research and development, and expand the company’s presence across western, southern, and central India. Dr. Varun Garg, CEO of DocPlix, stated, “DocPlix is looking to expand its operations in these regions to better serve our growing customer base.”

Founded in 2021, DocPlix aims to create a seamless data exchange ecosystem between doctors and patients. The company offers technology products for clinics and hospitals designed to enhance patient experience and streamline operations. Its flagship product, DocPlix Rx, is an advanced electronic medical records (EMR) system that supports doctors in growing their practices and delivering smarter patient care.

DocPlix has already onboarded over 2,000 doctors from various specialties, including endocrinology, cardiovascular surgery, dermatology, oncology, and dentistry. The company aims to onboard an additional 5,000 doctors in the next 10 months using its speech-to-text electronic health record (EHR) system. Additionally, it plans to sell 5,000 licenses of its AI-based medical chatbot, Panini.

With these strategic initiatives, DocPlix is poised to serve over 3,000 patients in the coming year, further solidifying its position in the health tech industry. This funding round marks a significant milestone for DocPlix, enabling it to expand its innovative solutions and deliver exceptional healthcare services across India.
