Dairytech startup ORIGHT has secured $1 million funding in its seed funding round led by Aeravti Ventures.
This investment follows ORIGHT’s previous funding round, which saw the company raise $847,000 from Loyal and other investors.
The funds will be used for the expansion of its platform, the enhancement of its product portfolio, and the further empowerment of the farmers, processors, and distributors it serves, according to ORIGHT’s press release.
Established in 2019 by Utkarsh Kapoor and Rame Kachroo, Gurugram-based ORIGHT offers an innovative IoT device designed for milk traceability solutions. These devices monitor critical parameters such as milk quality, including temperature, humidity, water content, fat content, somatic cell count, and the presence of adulterants.
Additionally, they track the milk’s journey from the farm to its final destination, recording the time spent in chillers, transport vehicles, and the environmental conditions during the packaging process. The data collected by these IoT devices is seamlessly transmitted to a blockchain network.
ORIGHT’s aim is to create a highly efficient and synchronized supply chain for the dairy industry, leveraging advanced technology. The company is committed to ensuring transparency, quality, and sustainability throughout the entire value chain, from farm to consumer.
