Healthcare-focused fintech startup Care.fi has successfully secured ₹8 crore in debt financing, comprising ₹5 crore from Wint Wealth and ₹3 crore from impact debt capital provider Caspian. This recent funding round follows Care.fi’s previous capital raises, including $2 million (approximately ₹16 crore) from Trifecta Capital and an additional $0.6 million (around ₹5 crore) from UC Inclusive Credit just three months ago.
The Gurugram-based company plans to utilize the new funds to enhance its market presence and invest in optimizing healthcare fintech operations, particularly in hospital management. Co-founded in 2021 by Sidak Singh and Vikrant Agarwal, Care.fi specializes in providing smart financing solutions tailored for hospitals, healthcare professionals, and allied suppliers, effectively bridging funding gaps within the healthcare sector.
Currently, Care.fi collaborates with over 50 hospitals and has supported more than 2,000 patients. The startup has experienced significant growth, with total disbursals increasing by four times, achieving cumulative disbursals of $48 million (approximately ₹400 crore) in the previous year. Additionally, Care.fi has successfully obtained a non-banking financial company (NBFC) license within two years of its establishment. Other notable players in the healthcare fintech space include CarePay, SaveIn, and Bajaj Finserv Health.
