Seekho, a learning-focused OTT platform, is currently in the advanced stages of securing up to $10 million in a new funding round, as reported by sources with knowledge of the matter. This represents the company’s latest round of funding, occurring within a period of less than 18 months.

The Bengaluru-based company is aiming to raise $8-10 million in its Series A round, with investments led by Lightspeed and Elevation, according to an anonymous source. It has previously received a $3 million investment from Elevation and additional investors in March of the previous year.

“The terms of the deal have been finalized, and if nothing goes wrong at the last moment, the transaction will be executed soon…“Seekho will be valued at around $45 million as two investors are looking to acquire 20% of the company,” said another anonymous source.

Established in 2020 by Rohit Choudhary, Keertay Agarwal, and Yash Banwani, Seekho is dedicated to helping individuals acquire new skills and knowledge. The platform offers a diverse range of courses designed to prepare learners for various career paths, including parenting, share market, Instagram, and education, among others.

Targeting users across all tiers, Seekho’s educational content is delivered through concise 2-5 minute videos, organized into episodic series. This approach ensures that the content is both informative and engaging, without being overly complex. The platform provides both monthly and weekly subscription options.

The confidence Elevation Capital has in Seekho is reflected in its decision to co-lead the platform’s latest funding round. The venture capital firm notes that approximately 30% of Seekho’s users have chosen annual plans, indicating that the platform’s appeal extends beyond a temporary trend.

According to TheKredible, Elevation Capital has acquired a significant stake in the company, approximately 24%, following its Series A round. Each of the three co-founders now holds a 16.65% stake in the company.
