India-based D2C babycare brand Bumtum has raised INR 122 crore in funding from Pantomath Capital. The funds will be utilized to expand the startup’s manufacturing unit and strengthen its presence in both general trade (GT) and export markets. Bumtum, which is part of Millenium Babycares, plans to scale its operations and boost its export strategy as part of this latest capital infusion.

Founded in 2015, Millenium Babycares operates across three key segments: baby care, femcare, and adult care products. Its Bumtum brand has emerged as a major player in the direct-to-consumer babycare space, with products designed to meet the evolving needs of young parents. The company operates a high-capacity manufacturing facility, claiming to produce 4 million baby diapers, 5 lakh sanitary napkins, and 1 lakh adult diapers on a daily basis. With this new investment, Bumtum aims to significantly boost its production capabilities, catering to rising demand both domestically and internationally.

Millenium Babycares has experienced remarkable growth, having clocked a revenue of INR 585 crore in FY24. This revenue growth is supported by Bumtum’s expanding footprint in both online and offline sales channels, as well as its commitment to product innovation in the babycare, femcare, and adult care sectors.
