Beverage startup Latambarcem Brewers has raised $1.5 million or Rs 12.5 crore in its Pre-Series A funding led by SPV, Dhruv Agarwala, and Sheba Venture Holdings among others.
LB Brewers stated in a press release that the fresh proceedings will help achieve consolidated growth and lead the beverage industry.
Brother duo of Aditya Ishan Varshnei and Anish Varshnei cofounded LB Brewers in 2017. Its two main brands are Maka Di and Borecha, unique craft beers and health-focused beverages with their probiotic kombucha as a hero product respectively. The Goa-based startup claims that its latter product has gained partnerships with Air India Express and Akasa Air. With the move, Borecha is set to be the first sparkling iced tea and kombucha to be served on an Indian airline.
It also offers Bavarian Keller, Belgian Triple, Super Maka and more. LB Brewers has expanded to the beverage markets of Canada, the US, UAE with plans to expand further to 11 European countries in 2024. It has set a target of clocking Rs 300 crore in annual revenue within the next three years.
