Aroa Venture Partners secures Rs 40 Cr ($4.8 Mn) in capital commitment from SIDBI under Government of India’s Fund of Funds for Startups and UP Governments UP Startup Fund schemes
The fact that two sovereigns have endorsed the fund indicates very strong interest from governments as well.

Aroa Venture Partners established in 2020 is a sector-agnostic early and growth-stage investment platform by Gaurav Gulati. Back in February, Aroa Ventures was backed by RACo Holding Company, a firm owned by Oyo founder Ritesh Agarwal The tonic investment firm has so far backed 36 startups, including CRED, MPL and Magicpin deployed Rs.1009 crore
Aroa is a Category-II AIF that has received commitments worth over Rs 400 crore ($48 million) from family offices and institutions. Its final close is scheduled to coincide with the end of fiscal 2025.
