AI-first travel startup 30 Sundays has closed a $770,000 pre-seed funding round led by Infoedge Ventures, with additional support from First Cheque, Eximius, Misfits, and other angel investors. The fresh capital will be utilized to broaden its destination offerings, particularly targeting the European and long-haul travel markets, while further strengthening the startup’s AI and data capabilities to provide a seamless customer experience.

Founded in 2022 by Kshitij Chaudhary and Anuj, 30 Sundays uses generative AI to automate critical processes, such as collecting customer information and updating itineraries. The AI-driven platform also analyzes calls and reviews at scale, enabling the company to gather actionable customer insights quickly. This integration of AI across sales, operations, and marketing has allowed the company to achieve up to fivefold efficiency gains—allowing it to cater to more customers with enhanced service quality, addressing a major challenge faced by traditional travel agencies that rely heavily on human teams.

As per the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), India’s outbound tourism market is anticipated to reach $18.8 billion in 2024, with projections to hit $55.4 billion by 2034, driven by an 11% annual growth rate. The promising outlook presents a significant growth opportunity for tech-enabled players like 30 Sundays, aiming to transform travel experiences through innovation.
