Ola Electric is set to unveil its first electric motorcycle at its annual event on August 15. This new model is the production version of the previously showcased Roadster and will be part of a lineup that includes four distinct electric motorcycles catering to different segments.
Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric, shared a blurred image of himself testing the new motorcycle, keeping the details under wraps until the official launch. However, the company has released four teaser images highlighting key design features, including the front section with the headlights, the seat, and the taillight.
Earlier previews revealed the motorcycle’s twin-pod LED headlight and unique rearview mirrors. The initial launch is expected to feature the street naked version of the motorcycle.
While detailed specifications remain limited, Ola Electric has confirmed that the new model will be powered by batteries developed at its new facility dedicated to electric two-wheeler battery production. Aggarwal previously hinted that these motorcycles would have the largest batteries in their category, promising an extended range compared to competitors.
Ola Electric’s concept motorcycles, introduced last year, included the Roadster, Adventure, Cruiser, and DiamondHead, all built on a unified platform. The DiamondHead is anticipated to set new standards for electric sports bikes.
