A debt marketplace for startups and SMEs, Recur Club has established a ₹150 crore ($18 million) fund to boost the expansion of direct-to-consumer (D2C) businesses in the quick commerce space. The business additionally claims that the goal of this program is to give these firms the growth and working capital they need to buy more inventory or increase their marketing.

Within 7 days, this fund aims to disburse loans. The platform’s loan options are made to accommodate different revenue and profitability stages and the particular financial requirements of enterprises. This fund will assist firms with expansion planning, marketing expenditures, and inventory management on PO-connected fast commerce platforms.

Eklavya Gupta, CEO & co-founder of Recur Club stated, “With more than half of the 300 consumer brands we’ve financed utilizing quick commerce platforms, it’s clear that these businesses are primarily investing in scaling inventory to keep pace with consumer demand and employing strategic marketing efforts.”

According to the startup, this new fund is in line with its mission to support the expansion of “Make-in-India” businesses, especially in the D2C market’s fast commerce sector. It has pledged to provide ₹1,000 crore to MSMEs through Recur Swift and ₹2,000 crore in loan financing for startups and SMEs through Recur Scale throughout this fiscal year. As part of this effort, the business has introduced its “Recur Scale” facility, which provides small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) or individual startups with up to ₹100 crore in finance.

Recur Club has paid out more than ₹500 crore to D2C enterprises over the past three years; this amounts to 30% of its total portfolio and includes businesses with annual revenues between ₹1 crore and ₹300 crore. Prominent institutional investors like Village Global, LC Nueva, Titan Capital, and InfoEdge Ventures support it.
