Jayant Chauhan, the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Honasa Consumer Limited, parent company of MamaEarth, has announced his resignation due to personal reasons. Chauhan’s resignation, disclosed in a stock exchange filing, will take effect on November 30, ending his four-year tenure with the company.
Before joining MamaEarth, Chauhan held the role of Chief Product Officer at Policybazaar for nearly two years. His departure follows another significant exit in August, when Abhiishekk Raj Pandey, Senior Vice President of Commerce at MamaEarth, left to co-found Zalon.
This development comes as MamaEarth recently reported a 17.6% quarter-on-quarter revenue increase, posting Rs 554 crore in Q1 FY25, up from Rs 471 crore in Q4 FY24. This marked its most profitable quarter yet, with a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 40 crore.
Additionally, early investors—including Peak XV, Stellaris Ventures, Sofina Ventures, and Fireside Ventures—recently offloaded shares worth Rs 1,600 crore ($190 million) in MamaEarth, signaling a significant shift in the company’s ownership landscape.
