A senior executive at JPMorgan Chase has been named in a civil lawsuit filed in the New York County Supreme Court on April 27, alleging sexual abuse, racial harassment, and professional retaliation. Lorna Hajdini, an executive director in the bank’s Leveraged Finance division, is accused by a junior male colleague, identified in court papers as “John Doe,” of coercive conduct spanning several months in 2024.
The complaint alleges that the incidents began in the spring of 2024 after the two began working together. It claims Hajdini made repeated sexual advances, including explicit remarks and threats linked to the plaintiff’s career progression. Court filings cite statements allegedly made by her, including: “If you don’t fk me soon, I’m going to ruin you, never forget, I fking own you.” The lawsuit further alleges that in September 202,4 she warned him: “You really think [management wants] some Brown boy Indian leading originations? If you don’t f**k my brains out tonight, I’m going to sabotage your promotion.”
The plaintiff also alleges that he was drugged with Rohypnol and another substance during certain encounters. Hajdini has denied all allegations. In a statement issued through her lawyers, she said she has “never engaged in any inappropriate conduct with this individual of any kind and has never even been to the location where the alleged sexual assault supposedly took place.”
JPMorgan stated that an internal investigation found no evidence supporting the claims. The plaintiff is seeking damages for emotional distress, lost earnings, and reputational harm. Hajdini remains employed at the bank.
