In a shocking incident in Rajasthan’s Udaipur, three individuals linked to a private IT company have been arrested for the alleged gang-rape of a female employee. The victim, a manager at GKM IT Private Limited, reported the assault occurred in a moving car after a company-hosted birthday and New Year party on December 20.
According to police, the party at a local hotel involved alcohol consumption, leaving the victim heavily intoxicated by around 1:30 am. She accepted a ride home from the company’s CEO, Jeetesh Sisodia, a senior female executive, Shilpa Sirohi, and Sirohi’s husband, Gaurav. The complaint alleges the trio stopped to buy smoking materials, forced the victim to smoke, leading to her losing consciousness. She awoke to find herself being molested and assaulted, with the ordeal lasting until she was dropped home around 5 am. Missing personal items and injuries to private areas were noted upon regaining full awareness.
Udaipur District Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal confirmed arrests based on the survivor’s statement, medical evidence showing injury marks, and dashcam footage from the vehicle. The accused are in custody, with further investigations ongoing to uncover additional details.
