Mumbai-based technology solutions company Aurionpro Payment Solutions has announced that it has received the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) approval to operate as an online payment aggregator through its payment gateway brand, AuroPay.
This authorization allows to provide digital payment services to merchants across the country under the Payments and Settlements Act, of 2007.
In an official statement, the company highlighted that Aurionpro Payment Solutions Private Limited, a subsidiary of Aurionpro, had secured the final authorization from the RBI to function as an online payment aggregator. This approval enables AuroPay to expand its digital payment offerings to a broader merchant base nationwide.
It specializes in technology solutions catering to banking, mobility, payments, and government sectors. The company’s stock saw a significant rise, closing at Rs 2,669.40 per share on the BSE, up by 4.94% from the previous close.
This development marks a significant milestone for Aurionpro Payments, as it aims to enhance its digital payment infrastructure and expand its market presence in India.
