Ambarish Kenghe has been appointed as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Angel One, a stockbroking firm. Angel One announced that Kenghe will take over as CEO in March 2025 in a stock exchange filing.

As the former Vice President and General Manager of Google Pay APAC, Kenghe played a key role in expanding Google Pay’s reach and developing the UPI ecosystem in India. Additionally, he made a substantial contribution to the development of Google TV and was instrumental in the debut of Chromecast.

Angel One is the third-biggest stockbroking platform in India, after Groww and Zerodha. In the stockbroking industry, the Mumbai-based firm holds a 15.67% market share with 7.75 million active clients.

In the December quarter, the company’s operating revenue increased 19.2% to ₹1,262.2 crore from ₹1,059 crore during the same time of the previous fiscal year. During that time, the company’s profits also increased by 8.1% to ₹281.4 crore.
