Magicpin, the local savings platform, has become the largest food delivery seller on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), processing close to 150,000 food and logistics orders per day. The company, which joined ONDC in March 2023, has seen rapid growth in restaurant partnerships, expanding from 22,000 to 70,000 by September 2024.
In just four weeks following its ONDC debut, Magicpin scaled its daily orders from 100 to 10,000 in May 2023, with that number surging to 150,000 by this year. A key driver behind this growth is Magicpin’s Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, which powers the front-end of other buyer apps, and its hyperlocal delivery service, Velocity, launched earlier this year.
The platform’s Delivery as a Service (DaaS) model is also gaining traction, with major brands like KFC, Burger King, and IGP gifting using its services. Magicpin has recently committed Rs 100 crore to onboard 100,000 new restaurants and cloud kitchens onto ONDC, offering incentives such as zero commission, no onboarding fees, discounts, and free delivery for newly partnered restaurant customers.
In addition to its success in food delivery, Magicpin serves over 10 million users, rewarding them for annual spending that exceeds $3 billion across 275,000 retailers and over 3,000 brands in categories like fashion, food, electronics, and groceries.
