Wundrsight, a startup specializing in digital therapeutic solutions, has secured $400,000 in its seed funding round with Inflection Point Ventures leading the round. Additionally, Social Alpha and other angel investors participated in the round.

The funds will be deployed in broadening its network of partnerships with hospitals and clinics throughout India and enhancing the development of its virtual reality (VR) solutions for mental health, as announced in a statement.

Established by Raunak Swarnkar, Wundrsight provides the digitalization and standardization of mental health treatments through the use of virtual reality. The company has also received support from Meta (the parent company of Facebook), DLabs at the Indian School of Business, IIT Mandi Catalyst, and NASSCOM.

At present, Wundrsight is operational in three major cities and has successfully signed agreements with more than five hospitals, with further collaborations with both private and public healthcare facilities in progress.

With a portfolio of over six VR therapy products, the company has provided treatment to over 1,000 patients suffering from a variety of mental health issues, including substance abuse, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, phobias, and autism, through therapies administered by professionals.

Market analysis suggests that the mental health market in India is expected to grow to a valuation of around $62.86 billion by 2032, a significant increase from $6.89 billion in 2023, with an average annual growth rate (CAGR) of 28.16%.
