Valyx, a Bengaluru-based start-up specializing in AI-powered B2B revenue and receivables automation, has successfully raised $800,000 in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was co-led by Huddle Ventures and Waveform Ventures, with additional contributions from Bharat Founders Fund and Propell Fund.
Founded in late 2023 by Avishek Ray and Anirudh Bhargava, Valyx automates various aspects of billing and receivables to enhance cash flow and accelerate payments for businesses. The platform’s features include rate card management, usage-based billing, collections, cash application, reconciliation, dispute management, and collaborative receivables tracking.
Valyx’s solutions aim to replace manual processes such as using Excel sheets for billing and following up on payments. According to the company, its technology has significantly reduced the time and effort required for billing and reconciliation, freeing up hundreds of hours previously spent on these tasks.
Before this funding round, Tracxn had valued Valyx at $3.63 million as of December 29, 2023. The start-up plans to use the new funds to expand its team and accelerate its product development. Valyx’s goal is to manage $1 billion in receivables within the next 18 to 24 months and evolve into a comprehensive AI-powered revenue management platform.
Ray emphasized that Valyx aims to automate the entire revenue cycle, from billing to dispute resolution, leveraging AI to enhance efficiency and speed up financial processes. The platform is designed to integrate seamlessly with existing ERP and payment systems, potentially accelerating payments by up to 30% and significantly speeding up the financial close process.
Ishaan Khosla, Partner at Huddle Ventures, highlighted Valyx’s potential to transform receivables management, noting the strong interest from mid-market and enterprise clients in optimizing their collections workflows.
