Adani One Initiates Digital Lending Pilots With NBFCs and Fintechs

Adani Group’s super app Adani One has launched pilot projects with non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) and digital lending firms to offer loans on the platform as per MoneyControl reports.

The digital arm of Adani Group’s flagship entity Adani Enterprise- Adani Digital Labs has partnered with KreditBee’s NBFC arm KrazyBee Services. The former will assume the role of a lending service provider (LSP) and offer personal loans in the range of Rs 1,000-5 lakh sourced from KrazyBee. The commissions on loans will depend on specific agreements and loan amounts.

The app conducts bill payments through its integration with the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) managing loan repayments, insurance premium payments, and utility billers. It piloted bill payment services last year and introduced a co-branded credit card in June 2024.

The super app is in talks with other NBFCs and other fintech firms to expand its credit product offerings. The company has also partnered with ICICI Bank to offer co-branded credit cards, flight bookings, and travel benefits.

The Adani One app was launched in December 2022 offering cab services, flight bookings, shopping at Adani-operated airports, rewards redeeming, a loyalty programme, product services & samples.

The super app has also acquired stakes in two travel tech companies in the last two years- 20% stakes in Flipkart-owned Cleartrip, and Goodwater Capital backed train ticket booking platform Trainman.

“The digital business achieved a significant milestone with the successful validation of its platform’s alpha version (featuring its first theme, Travel) aiming to evolve into a premier super app catering to a wide range of frequent use cases,” stated the report.

In FY24, the company’s Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) was Rs 750 crore while its user base expanded to 30 million. The company aims to reach 500 million user base by 2030 through the Adani portfolio and partner services.
