Direct-to-consumer (D2C) nutrition brand Supply6 has secured an undisclosed investment from former South African cricket icon AB de Villiers. Alongside his investment, de Villiers has been appointed as the brand ambassador for Supply6.
Founded in 2019 by Vaibhav Bhandari and Rahul Jacob, Supply6 focuses on providing health supplements aimed at enhancing overall wellness. The Bengaluru-based company’s product line includes offerings targeting deficiencies in Vitamin D, B12, gut health, as well as solutions for skin wellness and energy enhancement.
“I recognize the critical role nutrition plays in health and performance. Their commitment to comprehensive and convenient nutrition solutions aligns with my dedication to peak performance and well-being. The brand’s rapid expansion is impressive, and I am eager to support its mission of promoting healthier lifestyles,” stated AB de Villiers.
Supply6 competes in a competitive market alongside prominent nutrition brands like OZiva, BoldFit, and HealthKart. The investment from de Villiers underscores the growing trend of cricketers investing in and endorsing startup ventures. Recently, cricketers like Shikhar Dhawan, MS Dhoni, KL Rahul, and Hardik Pandya have actively engaged in similar roles within the startup ecosystem.
Supply6’s previous funding round was a pre-Series A in July 2022, marking its continuous growth trajectory in the D2C nutrition sector.
