Solinas Integrity, a climate tech startup, has secured an undisclosed amount of funding from Neev Fund II, managed by SBICAP Ventures, the private equity arm of the State Bank of India. The funding round also saw participation from Rainmatter Capital, a fintech unicorn Zerodha’s investment arm.
Founded in 2018 by Divanshu Kumar and Moinak Banerjee, Solinas Integrity specializes in providing robotics and artificial intelligence solutions for the water pipeline and sanitation industry. The startup’s technology focuses on detecting defects and leakages in water and sewer pipelines, as well as eliminating manual scavenging through mechanized cleaning of manholes and septic tanks.
The infusion of funds will enable Solinas Integrity to strengthen its efforts in water conservation and sanitation. The Tamil Nadu-based startup plans to enhance its existing technologies and expand its reach, ensuring more efficient and effective management of water resources and sanitation infrastructure.
In a statement, Solinas Integrity emphasized its commitment to addressing critical issues in water management and sanitation through innovative solutions. The company aims to leverage the new funding to bolster its capabilities in detecting pipeline defects and improving sanitation practices, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
This investment highlights the increasing recognition of the importance of technological solutions in addressing environmental and public health challenges. Solinas Integrity’s collaboration with Neev Fund II and Rainmatter Capital marks a significant step forward in the mission to conserve water and improve sanitation standards across the country.
