Responsibilities
A Software Developer in IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator for the z/OS development team, you will have a minimum of 3 years of experience developing Db2 Stored Procedure and other database development, build, and packaging. You will also work on mainframe components, and programming languages like C++, Java, Python, etc. Quality Assurance is part of the role where you design end-to-end test strategies based on customer scenarios.

- Database knowledge of Db2 for z/OS, Db2 LUW
- Database development in Db2 for z/OS
- Mainframe components like RACF, VSAM, WLM
- SQL and SQL optimization, Data Replication
- Programming languages exposure
- Quality assurance
Required Expertise
- Minimum 3+ years experience developing Db2 Stored Procedure development, building and packaging
- Experience with database technology, ideally Db2 for z/OS
- Experience in programming languages C++, C, PL/1, Java, JUnit, JCL, REXX, Python, and make\\
- Experience in Client/Server environment using JDBC, ODBC
- Experience with Db2 Stored Procedure Build and Packaging Utilities like SPA, SPA Control, SCLM
- Experience with mainframe components like RACF, VSAM, WLM,..
- Experience with Db2 administration, SQL creation, DB2 command-line creation and execution, Db2 performance tuning, understanding of logical database design
- Experience in building and maintenance of databases and related objects like tables, indexes, views
- Experience in designing end to end test strategies based on customer scenarios
- Basic z/OS knowledge/skills
- Excellence communication skills
