Elon Musk is known for turning his dreams into reality, and no doubt he leaves in a shock after his over the top developments. But this time, it seems a bit tough for him. He desires to place electrodes in human brains in such a way that our thoughts will be able to control computers.
Musk plans to this experiment to bolster his secretive startup Neuralink During this summer, he announced this project with his so long under kept startup Neuralink. In the medical field, doctors have been quite successful to place these implants in human brains in order to test certain health problems. But as of now, the experiments by the company have only been limited to testing on monkeys and rodents.

So when do they plan to test it on humans?
Musk mentioned that the idea is to create a “well-aligned future” for the company, which doesn’t create risks like human harming. During his conference in San Francisco, he revealed that the company plans to implant one of these systems in the human brain by the end of 2020 and claim it to be as painless as a laser eye surgery.

Apart from other businessmen, Elon has been very keen on the risk possessed by Artificial Intelligence on the human world, and thus this step towards human advancing seems to be odd defying one. Who knows, one day we will be as smart to control a computer with our thoughts?
