Networking community for India’s D2C sector, D2C Insider, has invested up to Rs 1 crore each in three early-stage startups: The Paan Legacy, Hemptyful, and Polr.Care.

These investments were made during the Elevate Cohort 2 Demo Day, a part of D2C Insider’s Early Stage Growth Cohort program, which is designed to assist new D2C brands.

The chosen startups, which are known for their innovative consumer products, joined a 12-week accelerator program aimed at enhancing their business strategies and expanding their operations.

This program, led by industry experts like Aneesh Seth, Vedang Patel, and Kunal Bahl, equipped the startups with guidance, business knowledge, and chances to present to a panel of investors. The panel featured notable individuals such as CarDekho founder Amit Jain and representatives from DSG Consumer Partners, Mumbai Angels, and Indian Angel Network.

Additionally, the accelerator program offered the startups over Rs 25 lakh in funding from key providers like WebEngage, Shiprocket, and Unicommerce. The curriculum spanned 12 weeks, including live sessions, one-on-one mentorship, and networking events, providing essential support to the startups as they prepared their pitches for investment.

D2C Insider, established in 2019, aims to drive the growth of India’s D2C ecosystem. Through its accelerator program, the platform has backed over 40 brands, offering them mentorship and funding opportunities. The third cohort of the program is set to begin in November 2024, welcoming a fresh group of early-stage D2C brands.
