Bengaluru-based startup NoPo Nanotechnologies has successfully secured $3 million in its pre-Series A funding round, co-led by prominent deep tech funds Axilor’s Micelio Fund and Inflexor Ventures.
The round also saw participation from climate-focused funds Spectrum Impact, Aureolis, and several angel investors.
The newly raised capital will be strategically deployed to scale up production capabilities, bolster engineering expertise, and execute a robust global go-to-market strategy.
This investment round enables NoPo to expand its production capacity, catering to the needs of global battery manufacturers, while further advancing its offerings for the electronics and semiconductor sectors.
Founded by Gadhadar Reddy and Kelley Bradley, NoPo specializes in the production of high-quality Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNTs). Over the past decade, Gadadhar and Dr. Kelley Bradley have diligently developed this technology.
SWCNTs, renowned for their advanced properties, hold promise across a spectrum of applications. These range from enhancing energy density in EV batteries to facilitating semiconductor research for the realization of quantum computing.
NoPo proudly asserts its status as the sole player in India and one of the select few globally with the capability to produce SWCNTs using a proprietary patented method.
Having consistently manufactured this material for the past five years, the company now aims to expand its capacity to meet the demands of global clientele operating in high energy density batteries and advanced electronics.
This funding milestone underscores NoPo Nanotechnologies’ commitment to innovation and its mission to pioneer groundbreaking solutions in the nanotechnology space.
