Nitro Commerce, a prominent revenue-as-a-service platform catering to ecommerce and D2C brands, has successfully secured Rs 15 crore ($1.8 million) in a seed funding round led by Cornerstone Ventures. Other participants in the funding round include Warmup Ventures, Lead Angels, Dholakia Ventures, India Accelerator, alongside notable individual investors Arjun Vaidya, Kunal Khattar, Nikunj Jain, and Piyush Jain.
The funds raised will be utilized to enhance core technologies supporting sourcing and enrichment capabilities for ecommerce and D2C brands, as stated by Nitro Commerce in a press release.
Founded in 2023 by Umair Mohammed, Atyab Mohammed, Shamail Tayyab, and Pratik Anand, Nitro Commerce operates as a comprehensive revenue-as-a-service solution, focusing on empowering ecommerce and D2C sectors. The platform aims to streamline revenue generation and accelerate growth by providing innovative technologies that optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies.
Previously launching Wigzo, which was acquired by Shiprocket in 2021, the founders bring a wealth of experience in the ecommerce technology landscape to Nitro Commerce. The startup aims to achieve profitability by 2025 through democratizing access to its technologies, offering them as an outcome-as-a-service, and ensuring seamless deployment for merchants.
Nitro Commerce reports rapid growth, having onboarded over 100 D2C brands in the past six months, with plans to expand its clientele to over 1,000 brands by the end of the year. Based in Gurugram, the company plans to introduce innovative integrations of ecommerce and digital advertising, leveraging intelligent, data-driven solutions.
Competing in a crowded market alongside players like Klaviyo, Elastic Path Software, Bango, Yotpo, and Rokt, Nitro Commerce aims to differentiate itself through bespoke offerings and strategic data utilization to enhance customer engagement and revenue performance.
