SuperKalam Raises $2M Seed Round

SuperKalam, an AI-powered personal mentorship platform for students preparing for competitive exams, has raised $2 million in its seed round.

The funding round was led by Y Combinator and FundersClub, with participation from notable investors including YC Partner Puneet Kumar, GoodWater Capital, Nurture Ventures, SuperCapital, and Pareto Ventures.

The newly secured funds will be utilized to further develop SuperKalam’s AI-driven educational platform, expand its user base, enhance user experience, and foster continuous innovation in personalized learning services.

SuperKalam, founded in July 2023 by Vimal Singh Rathore and Aseem Gupta, offers personalized guidance and support for competitive exam preparation. The platform uses AI-driven analytics to adapt to each student’s unique needs, providing tailored learning paths, instant doubt resolution, and progress tracking.

Since its inception, SuperKalam has attracted over 60,000 students, delivering customized mentorship and support through its advanced AI technology. The platform aims to empower students by offering personalized, real-time assistance and tracking their academic progress effectively.

This is the second venture in the edtech sector for co-founder Vimal Singh Rathore. His previous startup, Coursavy, was acquired by Unacademy in September 2020, demonstrating his successful track record in the industry.

SuperKalam’s innovative approach and substantial growth potential have garnered significant attention from investors, reflecting confidence in its mission to revolutionize personalized learning for competitive exams. The additional capital will support the company’s efforts to scale its operations and refine its platform, ultimately aiming to transform the educational landscape.
