Centricity, a wealthtech startup, has successfully secured $20 million (approximately INR 166 crore) in its seed funding round, led by Lightspeed, achieving a valuation of $125 million (around INR 1,049 crore).
The round also witnessed participation from Paramark Ventures and several family offices and angel investors, including the Burman family office, NB Ventures family office, MS Dhoni family office, MMG Group family office, Action Tesa family office, Aakash Chaudhry (former executive at Aakash Institute), Ritesh Agarwal (founder and CEO of OYO), and Vishal Dhupar (Managing Director, NVIDIA Asia South).
The capital will primarily be allocated to scaling up Centricity’s technology stack with a focus on building Generative AI (GenAI) modules. These modules are intended to enhance the platform’s capabilities in data-driven wealth management and personalized financial advisory. Additionally, the funds will be used to expand the company’s team, improve customer experience, and strengthen its market presence.
