Repello, a cybersecurity business powered by artificial intelligence, has raised $1.2 million in a seed round led by Venture Highway, Pi Ventures, and Entrepreneur First. Notable angel investors, including Satya Vas, Vivek Raghavan, CEO of Sarvam AI, and Charles Songhurst, a board member of Meta, also participated.
The money raised will be utilized to expand worldwide outreach, improve product capabilities, and further research in offensive testing simulations.
Repello was founded in 2024 by Aryaman Behera and Naman Mishra to protect generative AI systems from ever-changing assault methods. The firm runs its commercial and customer-facing divisions from San Francisco, but its development and innovation teams are headquartered in Bengaluru.
Repello’s primary product, ARTEMIS (Automated Red Teaming Engine for Mapping, Identification, and Scanning), detects vulnerabilities in GenAI systems by simulating extensive attack scenarios across text, visual, and audio layers.
The business provides Repello Guard, a live security architecture that keeps an eye on AI models while they are being deployed and flags vulnerabilities, including prompt injections, inappropriate material, and sensitive data leaks, in addition to ARTEMIS.
Due to the quick adoption of AI, North America is the company’s busiest market; however, the Middle East and other regions are also gaining traction, highlighting its growing global presence.
