Gut wellness brand Lifechart has raised $500,000 in its seed funding round. Prajay Advisors LLP has contributed $250,000, with the rest coming from Agility Ventures, Expert Dojo, and a group of angel investors, including Ahana Gautam, Nitish Mittersain, Sarath Sura, and Marwari Angels, who have invested through convertible instruments.

The brand secured $200,000 in a pre-seed funding round in 2022 from Expert Dojo and Nazara Technologies’ Nitish Mittersain.

This latest funding will improvise Lifechart’s AI capabilities, enable the launch of its own diagnostic solutions, and focus on expanding its brand presence in major cities, according to a statement from the company.

Founded in 2022 by Mukul Shah and Mansi Sharma, Lifechart is set on addressing the growing concerns about gut health in India by providing AI-powered predictive technology and products developed by BAMS and BHMS doctors.

The brand intends to launch plant-based products aimed at the microbiome and comprehensive wellness kits designed to address common gut problems such as constipation, fatty liver, piles, gas, and acidity.

Market studies suggesting the global market for gut health could exceed $18 billion by 2025-26. Their predictive AI model is designed to customize services based on demographic and regional health trends, having already served over 250,000 customers, primarily in tier II, III, and IV cities.
